Description
Cut, assembled, layered circles of paper, vintage fabric, even vintage scarf fabric (my grandmothers) covering a large painted canvas. Called ‘All Filled Up’ because I created it in a span of a few fast paced hours after getting the idea to use these materials, colors together eager and excited to capture these shapes. It was freeing to create this art, an outlet at a time when I really felt all filled up. Making this let me transfer some of my feelings of exhaustion, having lots of expectations upon me, yet some positive energy as well. Felt like a full, colorful, well handled and enjoyed jar of old marbles. Each circle set not perfect, somewhat complicated, unique, each with their own character and presence — as we all humbly possess too as individual human beings.
