Description
This is a quick sketch I did recently, remembering what it was like when I was living with active addiction. I find looking at it very intense and hope others feel the intensity too. Try as we might in active addiction to pretend we are all right, that everything in our life is ok, it is not, and others see this in us no matter how hard we try to hide behind a "smiling" mask. This image helps me remember why I don't want to go back to living a life ruled by addiction mask.
